Welcome to Mossdell Nature Tours! Experience Central Japan's beautiful nature and landscapes throughout each unique season. We offer small personal tours, specializing in the mountains of Tomi city, Nagano and Tsumagoi Village, Gunma. Your Nature Guide: Hello. My name is Reuben. I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts where I learned to love hiking and nature. For more than twenty years, I have been exploring the forests and mountains of Nagano and its neighboring prefectures. Many of our tours have dog friendly courses. Look for this symbol:! We offer a variety of different courses, including:

Course prices* for 2 guests (for each additional guest add 1,000 yen):
~ 2 hour course: 6,000 yen ~ 4 hour course: 9,000 yen ~ 6 hour course: 12,000 yen ~

*Price includes use of equipment (snowshoes, poles, gaiters and crampons when needed), transportation and insurance.
Transportation is provided from Glass and Grass cottage, Roadside Station Raiden Kurumi no Sato, Shigeno Station or other nearby locations.

Take a moss walk!
Available all year.
Learn about the different mosses that
grow in Nagano and Gunma prefectures.

~ 2 hour course: 5,000 yen ~ 4 hour course: 7,500 yen ~

*Price includes use of equipment (hand lenses, spray bottle, moss guide sheet), transportation and insurance.
